BPL Launches New Website for Calypso Cove


news13Leisure operator BPL launches its brand new website for Metrodome waterpark attraction ‘Calypso Cove,’ aiming to capture the theme and energy of the exciting family waterpark dubbed ‘Barnsley’s Hidden Treasure.’

The site features many exciting and vibrant images so that the user can be engaged with Calypso Cove and generate anticipation before their visit. The bold colour palette is supported by the drift wood graphic to pull the pirate theme within the waterpark into the digital offering of Calypso Cove and create a coherent brand experience.

The site features interactive elements like the Social Hub allowing the user to digest and consume the latest news, chat and review their experience, all in one place. BPL really wanted to extend the experience of Calypso Cove to work with the various social media outlets. The site will promote, engage and inform the user beyond the bespoke website and create a Calypso Cove community.

People can see into the waterpark with the interactive map and get an insider’s perspective of all the thrilling flumes, slides and waves that Calypso Cove has under one roof. 

BPL and communications agency TalktoMedia have worked hard to include all the important information in a stylised website. Customers can now use the custom purchasing tool that we have included to allow the user to reduce their queuing times with the newly launched Priority Tickets. This is the first time Calypso Cove have sold tickets online.

The website user can also enquire about children’s parties and even exclusive private hire, all to tailor the Calypso Cove experience to your group’s requirements.
